We are working with a global organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of high quality, internationally approved electrical control systems who due to continued growth are looking for Electrical Engineers to join the team in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
- Designing LVD Power Distribution & Control systems.
- The creation and approval of electrical, control schematics (AutoCAD LT).
- The creation and approval of general arrangement drawings (AutoCAD LT).
- Proving, building and testing design concepts.
- Component selection, creating and approving Bills of Materials.
- Technical report writing.
- Preforming electrical calculations.
- Performing engineering verification of designs & supporting documents
- Analysing performance and test data.
- System analysis and troubleshooting.
- Applying knowledge of standards.
- Collaborating with other engineers and departments throughout design to completion.
- Clearly presenting designs to internal teams.
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Preparation & of Work packs and other manufacturing documents
Requirements:
- An engineering degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Electrical design experience
- Proficient with 2D CAD (AutoCAD LT) & 3D is preferred
- Hands on experience of control and power distribution systems
- Ability to manage workload efficiently
