Charlotte Wessels is a Policy Officer at the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), where she applies her knowledge in chemical and bioprocess engineering to support policy development in the UK. Charlotte believes that an “all hands on deck” approach is the only way society can tackle challenges like climate change, social injustice, and rising intolerance and discrimination against marginalized groups; which is why she is committed to advocating for enhanced support and representation for engineers with disabilities in the workplace.
