EqualEngineers, in partnership with STEMAZING, is thrilled to be at the forefront of the EKO STEM initiative, part of the DNE STEM Regional Delivery Partner project. Our mission is to captivate and educate young minds about the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We are committed to making a profound impact through interactive and educational workshops, designed specifically for children aged 8-14.
Â
Our initiative spans across diverse regions, delivering 20 workshops in Scotland and 30 in the Southwest of England. These sessions are not merely informative but are designed to be deeply engaging, featuring live demonstrations and hands-on activities that actively involve students. By integrating practical elements, our workshops aim to spark curiosity and foster a lasting enthusiasm for STEM subjects. The focus of our project extends to schools that traditionally have low engagement in STEM areas, particularly those identified within skill shortage regions highlighted by the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Economy and Place report. Our approach is strategic, aiming to lay a solid foundation for future learning and development in these critical fields, while also addressing the immediate needs identified by local educational benchmarks.
